Job summary

Qualifications

• HVAC experience: 3+ years in HVAC or related industry.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment and log machines.
• Repair and replacement of defective equipment, components or wiring.
• Maintain and inspect equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Direct Level I technicians through hands-on demonstrations.
• Explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, and reports promptly.
• Interacts with customers and provides status reports during and after calls.
• Participate in available training through Daikin Learning.
• Ensure safety standards and keep the work area clean.

Come be part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive everything we do!**Location:**Greenville, SC**Your Responsibilities:*** Perform maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment including logging machines, cleaning coils, brushing tubes, replacing filters, replacing belts and proper lubrication* Repair and replacement of defective equipment, components, or wiring related to fan coils, water source heat pumps, applied air handling units, rooftop units, cooling towers, and condenser tubes* Maintain and inspect equipment to identify potential problems to prevent premature and unexpected breakdowns or callbacks* Perform warranty service application by inspecting and testing systems to verify functionality of HVAC equipment and components* Direct Level I technicians through hands-on demonstrations of all necessary steps to troubleshoot and repair equipment* Introduction to centrifugal rebuilds from Lead and Level III technicians* Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, technician tip reports, and other articles as required and in a timely manner* Interact with customers by offering status reports of service before, during, and after each call Explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences* Participate in available training through regional technician trainers, off-site learning modules, and Daikin Learning.
