Whipple-Service-Champions-Heating,-Cooling,-Plumbing-Electrical is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, service, and repair residential systems while educating homeowners on replacement options and comfort solutions. This hybrid role combines hands-on technical work with consultative sales and requires strong customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities include presenting benefits and timelines, preparing accurate proposals, and building lasting customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years residential HVAC service experience required.
• EPA and/or RMGA in hand.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Technical aptitude and willingness to learn complex product information.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to handle physical workload (lifting 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
• Educate homeowners on product offerings including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and indoor air quality systems.
• Deliver persuasive, informative presentations highlighting benefits, financing options, and installation timelines.
• Prepare accurate proposals and guide customers through decision-making.
• Build rapport and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the service and sales process.
• Track activities and progress using CRM software.
• Generate leads through service calls, referrals, and company-provided resources.
• Follow up with potential customers in a timely and professional manner.
