Job summary

Moore Mechanical HVAC in California is seeking skilled HVAC Service Technicians who combine technical expertise with strong people skills. You will diagnose complex HVAC systems, perform maintenance, and propose replacements to homeowners.

You’ll generate leads for equipment upgrades, work with Home Comfort Sales Advisors, and deliver a 5-star customer experience. Valid CA driver license and pass background check required; EPA/NATE certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of experience servicing residential and commercial HVAC systems.
• EPA & NATE certification strongly preferred.
• Experience servicing Lennox & Carrier equipment a plus.
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver a minimum of 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough system inspections to diagnose issues and provide accurate, solution-based recommendations.
• Proactively generate leads for equipment replacement and partner with Home Comfort Sales Advisors to offer customers best options.
• Identify and sell large-ticket repairs when appropriate to extend system life.
• Build rapport with customers, earning their trust as a reliable HVAC expert.
• Explain health, function, and lifespan of HVAC systems to help customers decide.
• Deliver a 5-star experience with every appointment and maintain professionalism on-site.
• Maintain communication with the office team and follow a structured daily schedule.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with policies and procedures.
