Job summary

Mobile Air & Power Rentals is hiring Service Technicians at all levels to support our nationwide HVAC rental operations. You will coordinate delivery, installation, and servicing of rental equipment, ensure timely orders, and deliver excellent customer experiences.

Roles require flexibility for on-call, evenings, weekends, and travel as needed. We offer full-time positions with overtime, quarterly bonuses, health/vision/dental, life insurance, 401k match, PTO, career advancement, and employee

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required; HVAC certificate preferred for higher-level techs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with MRP or rental software is a plus.
• Must pass DOT physical and drug test to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery, installation, and servicing of rental equipment.
• Process customer orders from sales or branch manager for timely fulfillment and delivery.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences to foster repeat business.
• Install and connect heating equipment to gas sources and set up ductwork for temporary applications.
• Utilize PPE and fall protection to maintain safety.
• Perform initial equipment startup and necessary service repairs; retrieve equipment at rental completion.
• Conduct equipment reconditioning per work instructions and store items properly in the warehouse.
• Higher-level technicians will clean, troubleshoot, and repair air-cooled chillers and large HVAC equipment, diagnosing refrigerant issues.
