Job summary

Mobile Air & Power Rentals is hiring Service Technicians nationwide, with roles from entry level to senior. The team supports delivery, installation, service, and startup of rental HVAC and power equipment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, HVAC training, and strong customer service. The role involves travel, on-call shifts, and safety protocols; full-time with overtime and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
HVAC certificate for higher levels preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with MRP or rental software is a plus.
Must pass a DOT physical and drug test to operate company vehicles.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
Background check required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate delivery, installation, and servicing of rental equipment.
Process customer orders from sales or branch manager for timely fulfillment.
Deliver exceptional customer experiences to foster repeat business.
Install and connect heating equipment to gas sources and set up ductwork for temporary applications.
Use PPE and fall protection at all times for safety.
Perform startup and necessary service repairs; retrieve equipment after rental completion.
Recondition equipment per work instructions and store properly in branch warehouse.
Higher-level technicians will service air-cooled chillers and large HVAC equipment, diagnosing refrigerant issues and supporting installations.
