Advantage Latta-Whitlow in Lawrence, KS is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to service residential heating and cooling systems on-site. You will diagnose issues, explain recommended repairs clearly to homeowners, and present options tailored to each customer’s needs.

The role emphasizes delivering a 5-star customer experience, maintaining a tidy work area, and participating in on-call rotations during peak seasons, with opportunities for growth within Blue Cardinal Home Services Group.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Clear, professional communication with customers.
• EPA 608 Certification, Type II or Universal (required).
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Ability to work in attics and crawlspaces and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Run residential service calls: no heat, no cool, maintenance, IAQ, and more.
• Diagnose issues accurately and clearly explain solutions to homeowners.
• Present repair and replacement options based on each customer's needs.
• Complete repairs and deliver a 5-star customer experience on every call.
• Keep a clean, organized truck and work area.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as needed, especially during peak summer and winter seasons.
