Job summary

Big Horn Heating and Cooling seeks an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, service, and repair residential and commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will work independently while delivering safe, high-quality service and maintaining documentation using company software.

This role requires strong technical skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to travel within service areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of HVAC service experience preferred.
• Technical or trade school training in HVAC strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues across residential and light commercial systems.
• Repair and replace HVAC components such as motors, compressors, and thermostats.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system performance testing.
• Read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications.
• Provide clear explanations and recommendations to customers.
