Job summary

Eco Electric, Plumbing, Heating and Air is seeking a Residential Air Conditioning Service Technician to join our Seattle team. We offer high earning potential, a company truck, comprehensive health benefits, and a focus on work-life balance.

You will troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, diagnose electrical/mechanical faults, and promote upgrades. Our compensation includes uncapped commissions, with total pay ranging from $75k to $120k+ per year.

Qualifications

• At least five years of proven experience as an HVAC Technician.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC principles (air conditioning, heating, refrigeration).
• Commitment to ongoing education and safety.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair a variety of HVAC systems and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems.
• Promote additional services such as indoor air quality solutions and duct cleaning.
• Encourage presenting options to clients when upgrading older equipment.
• Perform prompt emergency repairs to maintain system functionality.
• Build strong customer relationships and meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Skillfully troubleshoot and repair a variety of HVAC systems and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems accurately.
• Promote and recommend additional services such as indoor air quality solutions, duct cleaning, and system upgrades to enhance overall system performance and customer satisfaction.
• Promote and recommend sending out a comfort advisor so client's have all of their options when presenting repairs on older equipment
• Perform prompt and efficient emergency repairs to maintain system functionality.
• Customer Relations: Build strong customer relationships and continually understand and meet their needs and expectations.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated with industry advancements.

Qualifications:

• At least five(5) years of proven experience as an HVAC Technician.
• Experience "flipping" to a Comfort Advisor or Supervisor to talk to the client about new system options
• Advanced knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating (HVAC) principles.
• Strong commitment to ongoing education and professional development in the HVAC field.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Enjoy working with people and providing outstanding customer service.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces, with a focus on safety and quality in all tasks.
