Job Title: Service Tech III - HVAC
Location: Tempe, Arizona
Pay Range: $35 - $45 Hourly
What's the Job?
- Diagnose HVAC system performance through observation, testing, and setup tailored to the specific equipment and project requirements.
- Coordinate work processes on large projects, demonstrating hands-on expertise by disassembling and reassembling commercial and residential HVAC equipment for troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Complete service contracts, quoted projects, and demand service calls while establishing lasting customer relationships and ensuring satisfaction through clear communication.
- Serve as a technical resource to service technicians, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Participate in technician on-call-stand-by rotation, purchase materials, and maintain equipment, tools, and inventory on service vehicles, adhering to safety and operational standards.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED required; a two-year technical degree in a related field is preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in HVAC service and maintenance.
- Proficiency in HVAC unitary skills including split systems, mini-split systems, VRV heat pumps, RTUs, WSHPs, self-contained systems, and CRAC units.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC chiller systems, airside equipment, pumps, piping systems, and controls.
- Required registrations, professional licenses, and certifications relevant to HVAC service.
