Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Service Tech III - HVAC in Tempe, AZ to diagnose and optimize HVAC system performance on diverse projects. The role involves coordinating large project work, disassembling/reassembling equipment for troubleshooting, and delivering high-quality service with strong customer communication.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years in HVAC service, a HS diploma or GED, and a technical degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; a two-year technical degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in HVAC service and maintenance.
• Proficiency in HVAC unitary skills including split systems, mini-split systems, VRV heat pumps, RTUs, WSHPs, self-contained systems, and CRAC units.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC chiller systems, airside equipment, pumps, piping systems, and controls.
• Required registrations, professional licenses, and certifications relevant to HVAC service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose HVAC system performance through observation, testing, and setup tailored to equipment and project requirements.
• Coordinate work processes on large projects, including disassembly/reassembly for troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Complete service contracts, quoted projects, and demand service calls while establishing lasting customer relationships.
• Serve as a technical resource to service technicians, providing guidance, support, and training.
• Participate in technician on-call-stand-by rotation, purchase materials, and maintain equipment, tools, and inventory on service vehicles, adhering to safety and operational standards.

• Coordinate work processes on large projects, demonstrating hands-on expertise by disassembling and reassembling commercial and residential HVAC equipment for troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Complete service contracts, quoted projects, and demand service calls while establishing lasting customer relationships and ensuring satisfaction through clear communication.
• Serve as a technical resource to service technicians, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Participate in technician on-call-stand-by rotation, purchase materials, and maintain equipment, tools, and inventory on service vehicles, adhering to safety and operational standards.
