Job summary

Harris is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to repair, install, maintain, and adjust equipment. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to work orders in a timely fashion.

This role requires working evenings and weekends on an on-call rotation, adherence to safety policies, and effective communication with customers and the office team regarding work performed. Company vehicle, phone, iPad, uniforms, and major tools provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Service Technician in HVAC.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing medium to large tonnage commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
• Specialty knowledge of chillers, VRF/VRV, commercial refrigeration, or boilers is a plus.

• Valid driver’s license.
• Driving record that meets company standards.
• 3+ years as a Service Technician in HVAC.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Familiarity with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience making repair and replacement decisions to forward to the sales team.
• Advanced customer service skills.
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing medium to large tonnage commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
• Knowledge of basic commercial building systems operations.
• Specialty knowledge of chillers, VRF/VRV, commercial refrigeration, or boilers is a plus.
