HELP Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking a skilled HVAC Service/Sales Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential clients. The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and industry best practices.

The ideal candidate will maintain systems, explain options to clients, and work both independently and as part of a team. Minimum 2 years of HVAC experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC maintenance, service and repair.
• EPA certification and Journeyman's license preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical components, and refrigerants.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on their indoor air; heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems, and provide replacement options.
• Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, filter replacements, and system tune-ups.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients about system performance, issues, and solutions.
• Ensure all work meets safety and industry regulations.
• Maintain accurate service records and document recommendations and repairs.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete assigned jobs efficiently.
• Stay up to date with industry advancements and best practices.

Work Environment

Works in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust. Reasonable accommodations may be made to perform essential functions.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $80,000 USD - $160,000 USD
