Ostrom Electrical Plumbing Heating & Air in Roanoke, VA is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and service residential and light commercial systems on a scheduled dispatch, delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on HVAC service and repair experience or completion of an accredited HVAC training program with equivalent field experience.
• EPA Section 608 Certification is required; NATE certification a plus.
• Strong knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC systems and diagnostic procedures.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and extended hours during peak seasons.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on HVAC service and repair experience, or completion of an accredited HVAC training program with equivalent field experience
• EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II or Universal) required; NATE certification a plus
• Working knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC systems, components, and diagnostic procedures
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and work extended hours during peak seasons

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
