Job summary

Ostrom Electrical Plumbing Heating & Air in Roanoke, VA is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and service residential and light commercial systems on scheduled calls.

You will deliver a 5-star customer experience, participate in an on-call rotation, and grow with ongoing training and career advancement opportunities. A valid license, EPA 608, and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years HVAC service/repair experience or completion of accredited HVAC program with field experience
• EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal) required; NATE certification a plus
• Knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC systems, components, and diagnostics
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and extended hours during peak seasons
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on HVAC service and repair experience, or completion of an accredited HVAC training program with equivalent field experience


• EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II or Universal) required; NATE certification a plus
