Job summary

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning, an Authority Brands affiliate, seeks HVAC Service Technicians to perform in-home service and educate customers on technical decisions.

We offer competitive pay with commission, flexible schedules, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k) with company match. Must have EPA Type I/II, 2+ years experience, valid license, and pass background/drug tests.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of HVAC service and repair experience.
• EPA Type I and II certification required.
• NATE certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Willingness to sign ethics agreement and be videotaped for training six times per year.

Responsibilities

• Assess HVAC systems to determine repair or replacement needs.
• Explain recommendations clearly to customers.
• Perform service and repair work with technical excellence.
• Test systems after service to ensure proper function.
• Inspect systems to prevent future breakdowns.
• Explain services and repairs to customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Complete paperwork and document recommendations on invoices.
• Provide leads to sales team for system additions or replacements.

We are hiring HVAC Service Technicians to provide exceptional customer service by educating customers on technical and investment decisions while making service calls in their homes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess HVAC systems to determine repair or replacement recommendations.
• Effectively communicate these recommendations to customers.
• Perform services and repairs with a focus on technical excellence.
• Test each system after service or repair has been completed.
• Perform a proper inspection of the system to prevent future breakdowns.
• Effectively explain all services and repairs performed to customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Accurately complete all paperwork and ensure recommendations are written on invoices.
• Provide customer leads to sales team after identifying a potential need for system additions or replacements.

Qualifications:

• Must have two or more years of successful experience as a Service & Repair Technician in the HVAC industry.
• EPA Type 1 and 2 required.
• NATE certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must display strong communication skills and technical competence.
• Must sign the Company Code of Ethics and agree to being videotaped for training and compliance purposes at least six (6) times per year.
