Job summary

ABT Mechanical, Inc. in Orem, Utah is seeking a dedicated HVAC Service Technician to join our family-owned team. We value customer service, honesty, integrity, innovation, ongoing education, and community involvement.

The role offers on-site work with a Monday–Friday schedule, and occasional after-hours call rotations with bonuses. Competitive pay ranges from $29.00 to $35.00 per hour, plus spiffs based on experience and certifications, plus a robust benefits package including PTO, holidays, IRA

Qualifications

• 2+ years HVAC service/maintenance experience.
• EPA and RMGA certified.
• NATE Core and NATE Specialty certifications.
• Experience with complex sheet metal fittings may be required.
• Willingness to invest in tools and service training.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-tier HVAC service and maintenance to customers.
• Explain technical issues and upgrades to homeowners clearly.
• Follow directions to meet project specifications and safety standards.

Your Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Weekends, Overtime and Evenings on occasion, based on customer needs) On-call/afterhours rotation is part of this role (additional spiffs/bonuses are available for afterhours work)

Needed Skills and Qualifications for Success in this Role:

• 2+ Years of HVAC Service/Maintenance Experience
• Valid Driver's License and an Insurable Driving Record
• EPA and RMGA Certified
• N.A.T.E Core and Specialty Certifications
• Experience with More Complex Sheet Metal Fittings
• Willingness to invest in Tools and Service Training
• Ability to Work from Extension and Step Ladders
• Professional Appearance and Positive Attitude at All Times
• Strong Communication Skills with Homeowners, Supervisors, and Other Trades
• Leadership Potential, and Responsibility in Your Role
• Ability to Operate Scissor Lifts and Genie Lifts Safely
• Experience with Service Titan Software is Preferred, but not Required
• Ability to Follow Directions (Written and Verbal) to Meet Project Specifications
• Ability Provide Top-Tier Customer Service, Ensuring our Clients are Happy and Comfortable
• Ability Represent ABT Mechanical with Integrity, Honesty, and Care in All Customer Interactions
