Job summary

ABT Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a dedicated HVAC Entry Service/Maintenance Technician in Orem, UT. You will service and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems, performing quarterly and bi-annual visits to ensure client comfort and system efficiency.

We offer competitive pay ($20.00-$25.00/hour) plus spiffs, paid time off, holidays, IRA match, and more. Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with occasional overtime and on-call rotation. Background check/drug test after conditional offer.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Residential and/or Commercial HVAC Service/Maintenance.
• Valid Driver's License with an Insurable Driving Record.
• EPA and RMGA Certifications.
• N.A.T.E Core and Specialty Certifications (Or a strong willingness to obtain them)
• Experience with more Complex Sheet Metal Fittings.
• Willingness to Invest in Tools and Service Training.
• Ability to Work from Extension and Step Ladders.
• Professional Appearance and Positive Attitude at All Times.
• Strong Communication Skills with Homeowners, Supervisors, and Other Trades.
• Leadership Potential and Responsibility in Your Role.
• Ability to Operate Scissor Lifts and Genie Lifts Safely.
• Experience with Service Titan Software is Preferred, but Not Required.
• Ability to Follow Directions (written and verbal) to meet Project Specifications.
• Ability to Provide Top-Tier Customer Service, Ensuring our Clients are Happy and Comfortable.
• Ability to Represent ABT Mechanical with Integrity, honesty, and Care in all Customer Interactions.

Scheduled Work Hours To Expect In this Role:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Some weekends, evenings, and overtime may be required based on customer needs. On-call/afterhours rotation is also a requirement of this role (additional spiffs and bonuses are available for afterhours work).

Your Responsibilities:

As an HVAC Entry Service/Maintenance Technician, you'll service and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems, performing visits quarterly and bi-annually. You'll play a key part in ensuring our clients' comfort, and ensuring our client's HVAC systems are running optimally for the coming seasons, while upholding the high standards of quality and professionalism that have defined ABT Mechanical for several decades.

Skills Needed for Success in this Role:

• 1+ year of experience in Residential and/or Commercial HVAC Service/Maintenance
