Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC service experience preferred.
• EPA certification required; NATE a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Perform thorough system evaluations to identify efficiency issues, safety concerns, and upgrade opportunities.
• Present clear, honest recommendations to homeowners regarding repairs, upgrades, IAQ products, and new system options.
• Educate customers on system performance, energy efficiency, and comfort solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance for reliable operation.
• Install, replace, and upgrade HVAC components as needed.
• Test electrical circuits and components to verify proper operation.
• Accurately document all work performed and outcomes.

Certified Climate Control is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician who thrives at the intersection of technical expertise and customer engagement. This is not just a “fix-it” role - we’re seeking a turnover / opportunity technician who can diagnose systems accurately, educate homeowners confidently, and identify opportunities for upgrades, replacements, and system improvements.

What You’ll Do:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment.
• Perform thorough system evaluations to identify efficiency issues, safety concerns, and upgrade or replacement opportunities.
• Present clear, honest, and professional recommendations to homeowners regarding repairs, upgrades, IAQ products, and new system options.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by educating customers on system performance, energy efficiency, and comfort solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure reliable and efficient system operation.
• Install, replace, and upgrade HVAC components as needed.
