Job summary

Tri City Mechanical is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems across Central New Jersey. Candidates should have at least 5 years of hands-on experience and hold EPA Universal Certification.

A valid driver's license is required, and NJ Master HVACR or NATE certification is a plus. The role offers a full-time schedule in Ewing Township, with a company vehicle, gas card, a PTO program, and an iPad.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of verifiable hands-on HVAC service experience.
• Valid EPA Universal Certification required; NATE or NJ Master HVACR license is a plus.
• Strong proficiency with electrical schematics, refrigerant charging, and advanced diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain heat pumps, gas furnaces, AC units, boilers, and ductless mini-splits.
• Perform seasonal maintenance and system safety inspections.
• Explain diagnostic findings and repair options clearly to residential and commercial clients.
• Maintain an organized, well-stocked company service vehicle.
• Participate in a rotating, paid on-call schedule for emergency services.

Position Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $25.00 – $42.00 / hour (Based on experience + performance bonuses/commissions)

Job Summary

• Maintain an organized, well-stocked company service vehicle.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience as an HVAC Service Technician.
