Job summary

Hiller is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to perform thorough inspections and quality repairs for residential systems. You will coordinate parts, manage purchase orders, and ensure readiness for each service visit while communicating clearly with customers.

The role requires EPA and HVAC certifications, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to mentor apprentices as needed. NATE certification is preferred, with opportunities for growth and stability.

Qualifications

Job Responsibilities

• Perform a thorough and accurate HVAC inspection
• Perform all HVAC repairs and replacements to applicable codes.
• Facilitate order for all parts required for appointments and ensure preparedness for the day of service.
• Submit purchase orders to dispatch or other designated purchasing team administrators.
• Effectively communicate with the customer regarding questions, concerns and problems.
• Train, coach and mentor apprentices.
• Maintain a courteous demeanor with customers and associates at all times.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of verifiable work experience in the HVAC industry.
• Knowledge of the fundamental operational functionality of residential air conditioning, heating, and ventilation equipment.
• Able to troubleshoot problems with refrigerant, electrical, and duct systems on HVAC equipment.
