Tony’s Plumbing, Heating, and Air in Modesto, CA seeks an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician. You will troubleshoot and repair various HVAC systems, diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, and recommend upgrades to boost performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of proven residential HVAC technician experience.
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background check.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration and heating principles.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC systems.
• Recommend and sell indoor air quality solutions, duct cleaning, and system upgrades.
• Strengthen customer relationships and uphold the company brand.

Responsibilities:

• Skillfully troubleshoot and repair a variety of residential HVAC systems and equipment.

• Accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC systems.

• Recommend and sell additional services such as indoor air quality solutions, duct cleaning, and system upgrades to enhance overall system performance and customer satisfaction.

• Strengthen customer relationships and showcase the company brand by understanding and exceeding their expectations at every interaction.

• Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.

• Collaborate effectively with other team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

• Participate in any paid training Tony’s determines relevant to your HVAC technician role. These trainings may or may not be during normal work hours.

Qualifications:

• At least five (5) years of proven experience as a residential HVAC Technician.

• An EPA certificatio is required.

• Advance knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating principles with the ability to diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot.

• Strong commitment to ongoing education and professional development in the HVAC field.

• Must have a valid driver’s license.

• Must be willing to undergo a background check.

• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.

• Enjoy working with people and providing outstanding customer service.

• Comfortable working in confined spaces, with a focus on safety and quality in all tasks.
