Job summary

All Temperatures Controlled, Inc. is seeking dedicated HVAC service technicians to join our expanding team in the San Fernando Valley and greater Los Angeles area.

For over 45 years, we have serviced, repaired, installed, and maintained a diverse range of HVAC, refrigeration, and industrial equipment. You will work on residential, light commercial, and industrial projects, travel to job sites, and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in HVAC preventative maintenance, service, and repair.
• Own industry-specific tools.
• EPA certification required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willing to work overtime and the 24 emergency on-call cycle.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled repair or maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, and related systems using hand or power tools.
• Provide quality customer service while troubleshooting and diagnosing units.
• Maintain detailed documentation and reports of service work and parts needed.
• Assist with estimates, proposals, and parts orders as needed.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule and travel to job sites within the service area.

Role

Our HVAC Service Technicians are responsible for the operations, repairs, replacement and preventative maintenance of commercial air conditioning, heating systems, and refrigeration systems. This includes air handlers, fan coil units, exhaust fans, make-up air units, reach-in refrigeration, walk-in refrigeration, and ice machines. Job duties include:

• Perform skilled repair or maintenance operations, using equipment such as hand or power tools
• Provide quality customer service while troubleshooting and diagnosing air conditioning, refrigeration, heating units and various other associated equipment
• Maintain detailed documentation of service work performed, with complete reports, parts needed, and condition of systems needed for any follow ups
• Assist with providing estimates, proposals, follow-ups, bid preparation and parts orders when assigned or needed
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule as needed
• Maintain good working order of company vehicle, equipment, and electronics
• Travel to job sites in service area and work with dispatcher to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer

Pay: $25 - $35 an hour
