Job summary

Las Vegas, NV-based HVAC services firm is seeking an experienced service technician to handle daytime residential service calls and maintenance duties. The role includes a base pay of $30-$35/hr plus commissions on service upsells and system sales from leads you generate.

The technician will diagnose and repair systems, focus on retrofit and replacement work, and service a large maintenance agreement base. A strong work ethic and EPA certification are required.

Qualifications

• 4-5+ years of residential HVAC service experience, working self-sufficiently in the field (service-side experience specifically, not only new construction).
• EPA certification is required.
• You must have your own hand tools.
• Strong work ethic and genuine interest in doing the job well and staying long-term.

Responsibilities

• Run roughly 6-10 residential service and maintenance calls per day.
• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, primarily in retrofit and replacement settings.
• Perform maintenance visits for a large base of recurring maintenance agreement customers.
• Spot and recommend service upgrades, and generate system replacement leads for the sales process.
• Document calls and job details in the company's field service software.
• Represent the company professionally in customers' homes and build long-term customer relationships.

HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN

If you're an experienced service tech who's tired of being treated like a number, this is a chance to land somewhere for the long haul. Our client is a growing, owner-led residential HVAC company looking for a tech who wants to stay, grow with the business, and get paid for the work they bring in. A large base of maintenance agreements keeps the schedule full even in the slow season.

THE BASICS

Location: Las Vegas, NV
Pay: $30-$35/hr base (depending on experience) + commission: 10% on service upsells and 3% on system sales from leads you generate
Service Area: Las Vegas metro, including Henderson, North Las Vegas, and greater Clark County
Schedule: Daytime residential service calls, roughly 6-10 per day depending on demand [exact days/hours TBD]
On-Call: Once a month (24-hour shift)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required:

• 4-5+ years of residential HVAC service experience, working self-sufficiently in the field (service-side experience specifically, not only new construction)
• EPA certification
• Your own hand tools
• A strong work ethic and genuine interest in doing the job well and staying long-term

Nice to Have (not required):

• Bilingual
• 7+ years of experience or lead-tech-level background
• Experience with field service management software
• Comfort recommending upgrades and generating replacement leads
