Job summary

Lunsford Air Conditioning & Heating is seeking an HVAC Technician - Service to install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems in the Florida Panhandle area. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure optimal performance while delivering excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate has experience in residential service, solid diagnostic skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Residential Service HVAC Technician or similar role.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC systems.
• Solid knowledge of HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and workload.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of residential HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Install, repair, or replace components such as compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, filters, and ductwork.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate work schedules and efficiently complete assignments.
• Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Accurately document service activities, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices to continuously enhance skills.

As an HVAC Technician - Service, you will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair residential HVAC systems. You will also be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting systems.

HVAC Technician - Service Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Residential Service HVAC Technician or similar role.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC systems.
• Solid knowledge of HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and workload.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
