Pay Range

This range is provided by TDAC HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING LLC. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $30.00/hr

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3-5 years' experience in residential and light commercial HVAC
• Valid driver's license with no recent traffic offenses, suspensions, or DUIs
• Valid Social Security Card
• Current TDLR state HVAC registration and EPA certification
• NATE certification (beneficial but not required)
• Refrigeration and installation experience (beneficial but not required)

Physical Requirements

• Regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, kneeling
• Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to work in extreme environmental conditions
• Own tools required

Responsibilities

1. Establish and maintain customer, vendor, and coworker relationships
2. Identify, diagnose, and repair equipment to ensure customer satisfaction
3. Respond to service requests, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot systems
4. Promote sales of HVAC parts, supplies, and replacement components
5. Diagnose equipment breakdowns, test parts, and perform repairs
6. Explain work to customers and obtain approval
7. Perform system repairs, calibration, or replacement of controls and components
8. Check condensation drains, order parts, and perform inspections
9. Maintain vehicle and tools, complete work documentation
10. Test repairs and ensure quality of work
