We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician as we grow our business. In addition to providing startup and warranty support to our construction group, this technician will also support our end user clients through scheduled maintenance, equipment repair, and equipment replacement projects.
Pay: $25 - $45 per hour, depending upon experience and education
Work hours: 7:00am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (Weekends, Overtime, and Evenings on occasion)

Primary Job Functions:
- Perform electrical and mechanical inspection and maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure peak performance
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks per scope of work and document operational data
- Use experience and technical skills to determine service requirements
- Interpret engineering drawings related to system layout, location, and operation
- Represent the company positively to other trades, contractors, and owners
- Advise customers of system issues and communicate corrective actions within the department
- Suggest solutions beyond repairs beneficial to customers
- Work in a team environment to share information and ensure customer satisfaction
- Submit required paperwork timely
- Work safely and adhere to all safety measures
- Perform additional duties as assigned and assist with other tasks as needed
- Be flexible to work overtime and weekends as required
- Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Required Qualifications:
- At least five years' experience servicing commercial and residential HVAC units
- Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
- Ability to pass drug screening and background check
- Ability to work in diverse conditions, including mechanical rooms, extreme weather, high voltage, and at heights
- Ability to climb ladders and lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- All necessary tools and a working knowledge of relevant skills
- Understanding of preventative maintenance benefits
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles
- Experience in training and mentoring technicians
- Ability to operate lifts safely
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld devices
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Desired: Completion from HVAC Technical School
