Job summary

Lennox National Account Services, a Lennox International company, is seeking skilled HVAC technicians to perform on-site maintenance, repair, and calibration for commercial rooftop systems. You will identify service requirements and coordinate with a team to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role requires 2–6 years of hands-on HVAC experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver's license. Occasional travel, overtime, and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2–6 years hands-on commercial HVAC experience.
• EPA certification – Type I & Type II or Universal required.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Technical aptitude for maintenance, service and troubleshooting.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.
• Ability to complete repairs and required paperwork.
• Ability to work independently and self-schedule.
• Self-motivated to complete assigned tasks within time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration after installation.
• Handle basic, non-complex HVAC issues, refer complex problems to higher-level technicians.
• Use experience and technical skills to determine service requirements.
• Advise manager of inspections performed and actions needed.
• Collaborate in a team-based environment to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work safely and follow all safety measures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Show flexibility for overtime and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration after installation.
• Handle basic, non-complex products and problems, referring more complex issues to higher-level technicians.
• Use experience and technical skills with preventive maintenance and system operations to determine service requirements.
• Advise manager of preventive maintenance inspections performed and corrective actions to be taken.
• Work in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Work safely on a daily basis and ensure all safety measures are taken at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Show flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.

Physical Requirements

• Install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial rooftop HVAC units, often independently.
• Get onto rooftop via fixed/extension ladder.
• Work at heights.
• Load and unload tools/equipment from work van.
• Lifting occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Lifting to shoulder and overhead occasionally up to 25 lbs.
• Push or pull a wheeled cart up to 150 lbs.
• Climb ladder up to roof height.
• Extend reach overhead in a repetitive motion.
• Manual tandem lifting load up to 125 lbs.

Compensation

This is an hourly non‑exempt role. The salary range for this role and market is between $45,000 and $91,000 annually. Factors that may affect the starting salary include geography, tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Employees in this role are not eligible for a bonus but do earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week.
