Job summary

Yellowstone Local proudly represents EcoMize USA, a leader in energy efficiency and home services, seeking an experienced HVAC professional for residential systems installation, startup, and repair. You’ll diagnose problems, decide repair vs replacement, and handle a range of equipment from furnaces to boilers with autonomy.

Take ownership of service and installation work, use advanced HVAC skills such as brazing and combustion analysis, and read wiring diagrams to ensure safe, reliable

Qualifications

• Valid Maryland driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Maryland Journeyman HVAC License required.
• Type II CFC certification required.
• Strong residential HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic experience.
• Experience with furnaces, AC, heat pumps, mini-splits, boilers, and water heaters.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and use electrical meters.
• Brazing and combustion analysis experience.
• Basic sheet metal knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in attics/crawl spaces.
• Additional trade licenses or certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Work on furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, boilers, and water heaters.
• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose system issues.
• Recommend appropriate repairs or replacement options.
• Read wiring diagrams and use electrical meters.
• Perform brazing and combustion analysis.
• Complete basic sheet metal fitting and installation.
• Work safely in attics, crawl spaces, and residential job sites.
• Maintain professional communication with customers.
