Job summary

Renfrow Heating Cooling Plumbing Electrical in Clayton, NC is seeking a self-motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. You’ll diagnose, repair and service HVAC systems on-site with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC service experience
• 21+ years old
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License with a clean record
• Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn
• Physical dexterity

Responsibilities

• Clean, adjust, and repair HVAC systems and components
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems to diagnose issues
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Track repairs and completed work in trade software (ServiceTitan)
• Engage with customers to explain issues and solutions, and suggest services

What you will DO:

• Clean, adjust, and repair HVAC systems, including air handling units, ductwork, vents, and condensation drainage
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems and equipment to diagnose issues
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety regulations
• Track HVAC repairs and work completed in trade software (ServiceTitan)
• Engage with customers to inform them of issues, solutions, and outcomes, and recommend products/services for optimal system performance

What you NEED:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician
• Must be 21 or older
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License with a clean record
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn
• Physical dexterity
