Job summary

ColonialWebb Contractors Company seeks experienced HVAC Service Technicians to join our Charlottesville, VA team. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain medium to large commercial HVAC systems and associated control components.

You should have hands-on experience with diagnosing equipment issues, testing parts, and performing repairs to keep systems running efficiently. A Journeyman's license is preferred, and OSHA safety standards apply on every job.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting, servicing and repairing commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
• Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain complex HVAC systems and controls.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain medium to large commercial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose breakdown causes, test parts with appropriate instruments, and perform disassembly/assembly as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain documentation of work performed.

A day in the life:

• Use your HVAC skills and experience to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain medium to large sized complex heating and cooling systems and associated control systems
• Diagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to HVAC equipment and associated components

You should have:

• Work experience as a HVAC Service Technician with a specialization in troubleshooting, servicing and repairing commercial and Industrial HVAC equipment
• Highly skilled at diagnosing, repairing, and performing maintenance on commercial HVAC systems and related controls
• Applicable Journeyman's license (preferred, but not required)
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
