Job summary

Luihn VantEdge Partners, LLC is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to perform maintenance and troubleshooting on various commercial HVAC equipment. Candidates should have at least 5 years of field service experience and be adept with Building Automation Systems.

The role requires self-motivation and the ability to travel between Huntsville and Birmingham during peak seasons. Successful candidates will enjoy competitive pay, flexible PTO, and a range of benefits including a 401(k) plan and healthcare reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Able to perform maintenance and detailed troubleshooting of commercial HVAC equipment including but not limited to: packaged RTU’s, large split systems, VRF systems, cooling towers, air‑cooled chillers, variable frequency drives, pumps & motors.
• Basic understanding, operation, and navigation of common Building Automation Systems (e.g. Trane, Honeywell, JCI).
• Familiar with different manufacturer’s service software for VRF systems (e.g. Mitsubishi, Daikin, Sanyo, Toshiba, Fujitsu).
• Self‑motivated and able to work with limited guidance from management.
• Fill out service tickets and time sheets electronically (iPad) and send via email.
• Travel as necessary during peak seasons between Huntsville & Birmingham.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years field service.
• Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening.
• Ability to pass MVR check.
• Ability to pass a physical ability test.
