Job summary

Superior Air Management in Athens, GA is hiring an HVAC Service Technician to maintain and repair HVAC systems. You will handle maintenance, warranty work, and emergency repairs, with a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, and quality workmanship.

The position offers a starting pay of $25.00+ per hour, paid weekly, and a benefits package including health insurance, a company vehicle for leads, tool allowance, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work after hours, weekends, and holidays on rotation.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• EPA certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Identify maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Clean, adjust and repair systems, and perform warranty services.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Record daily invoices and records of all maintenance functions.
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Comply with service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements.
• Assist with customers' queries.
• Provide technical direction and on-the-job training.
• Collect payment and customer references as needed.

Beginning Pay $25.00+ (depending on experience)

We are looking to hire a detail-oriented HVAC Service Technician to maintain and repair HVAC systems for our Athens location. You will be responsible for performing maintenance, warranty, and emergency repairs. To be successful in this role, customer satisfaction, safety, and comfort should be your top priority. Ideal candidates will be patient, have strong communication skills, and have excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Recording daily invoices and records of all maintenance functions.
• Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements.

• Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.

• Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.

Certifications Desired

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm, plus overtime opportunity
