Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a Service Technician I to perform residential and light commercial HVAC service and maintenance in Livermore, CA. You will diagnose problems, inspect equipment, and complete maintenance with accuracy while providing excellent customer service.

The role requires HVAC training and 2–5 years of experience, EPA/safety certifications, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with HVAC training and 2–5 years' experience.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Proficient at servicing heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Works under minimal supervision to perform residential and/or light commercial service and maintenance calls.
• Diagnoses, analyzes, and resolves customer problems in a courteous, timely, and accurate manner.
• Performs service on HVAC equipment and accessories; inspects and diagnoses to prevent breakdowns.
• Completes routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed.
• Delivers parts to job sites and records information on handheld device; collects payment as needed.
• Maintains safety, follows procedures, and communicates with dispatch for status updates.
