Job summary

Sierra Air Conditioning & Plumbing in Las Vegas is seeking an HVAC Service Technician who will diagnose systems, educate customers on improvements, and generate opportunities for the sales team. You will deliver a high-quality service experience, communicate clearly, and maintain professionalism on every call.

The role emphasizes trust, education, and helping customers make informed decisions, with ongoing training and leadership development as part of our growth culture.

Qualifications

  • EPA Universal Certification is required.
  • HVAC or related technical experience is required.
  • 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license and insurable record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.

  • Educate customers on solutions and improvements.
  • Generate opportunities (TGLs) for the sales team.

The Role (What You’ll Own)

This is not a high-pressure sales role - this is about education, trust, and helping customers make informed decisions.

You will:
  • Diagnose system performance and identify opportunities
  • Educate customers on solutions and improvements
  • Generate opportunities (TGLs) for the sales team
  • Deliver a professional, high-quality service experience
Key Responsibilities
Service & Technical Execution:
  • Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and light service work
  • Identify system inefficiencies and performance issues
  • Maintain high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
Customer Experience:
  • Build rapport and trust with customers on every visit
  • Clearly explain findings and recommendations
  • Deliver a consistent 5-star service experience
Performance & Accountability:
  • Create TGLs (Tech-Generated Leads) for Comfort Advisors
  • Take ownership of performance, productivity, and results
  • Continuously improve through training and coaching
Communication & Teamwork:
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and internal teams
  • Accurately document job notes and service recommendations
  • Represent company standards and professionalism at all times
Standards & Consistency:
  • Follow all safety protocols and company processes
  • Maintain clean, organized work environments
  • Participate in ongoing training and development
What We’re Looking For
  • 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license and insurable record
