Job summary

Radiant Plumbing & Air Conditioning in Austin seeks an HVAC technician to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair residential systems, and to perform maintenance on air conditioners, furnaces and heat pumps. Deliver a great customer experience and use ServiceTitan to document jobs and recommendations.

Requirements include 2+ years of residential hvac experience, EPA certification, TDLR license, and a valid Texas driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years diagnosing residential HVAC systems.
• EPA certification and TDLR license are required.
• Clean Texas driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems in customers' homes.
• Perform maintenance on air conditioners, furnaces, and heat pumps.

What You'll Be Doing

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems in customers' homes


• Perform maintenance and service on air conditioners, furnaces, and heat pumps


• Communicate clearly with homeowners about system issues and recommended solutions


• Use ServiceTitan to document jobs, notes, and recommendationsDeliver a great customer experience while representing the Radiant brand

What You Need

• 2+ years of experience diagnosing and troubleshooting residential HVAC equipment


• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years)


• Comfortable using an iPad and ServiceTitan software


• Strong customer service skills and the ability to explain and recommend repairs


• Experience with variable-speed equipment and replacing components such as capacitors, contactors, and motors


• EPA Certification and TDLR license required
