MetroPower seeks a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, Level 2, to install, service, and troubleshoot commercial HVAC systems for diverse client projects. You will work with a skilled team to ensure safe, efficient operations and adherence to codes, while providing guidance to junior technicians.

The role emphasizes startup experience for common controllers and sequences, understanding HVAC control operations, and maintaining high customer service standards on site in a dynamic work environment.

As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, Level 2, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional HVAC installation and services to our commercial clients. You will have the opportunity to work with many challenging types of HVAC systems and work with some of the best technicians in the industry. You will be responsible for the professional installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the cabling and components pertaining to commercial HVAC systems. You will also be expected to perform as site superintendent for preventive maintenance contracts and/or installation projects when necessary. All technicians are expected to assist in other roles within their abilities from time to time. • Work with a team of HVAC technicians to install and to service systems safely, efficiently, and effectively per job requirements, industry standards and building codes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards while working.
• Help ensure excellent job productivity by relaying task hazards, status, and completions accurately and timely.
• Training and providing guidance to other technicians to advance their knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

• Must have experience and knowledge of how to read mechanical drawings and control drawings.
• Must have at least 3-5 years of experience in HVAC controls industry
• Must have at least 3 years of experience performing startup for common controllers and sequences.
• Must have a good understanding of HVAC sequences and operation.
• EPA License is required.
