Job summary

Axsom Air of LA in Louisiana is seeking an HVAC Service Technician who combines technical HVAC expertise with proactive sales to help customers improve energy efficiency. Your role includes diagnosing and repairing systems, presenting upgrades or maintenance options, and closing service opportunities while delivering outstanding customer service.

This full-time position requires a High School diploma or GED, EPA certification, and 2+ years of HVAC field experience.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
EPA certification is required.
2+ years HVAC service experience.
2+ years of direct home sales experience.
Excellent communication and closing skills.
Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems.
Ensure all work complies with industry standards and company protocols.
Engage customers to discuss improvements, upgrades, or repairs beneficial long term.
Identify and present HVAC product and service recommendations; close sales for upgrades, new equipment, PM plans.
Establish rapport and trust, handle objections, and provide clear advice.
Generate new business opportunities through referrals and follow-ups on job opportunities.
Work with dispatch and sales teams for scheduling and follow-up.
Meet and exceed personal sales goals while maintaining high standards of technical service.
