Job summary

One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning - Fullerton is seeking a motivated HVAC Sales & Service Technician to diagnose, service, and repair residential systems and to discuss options with homeowners for repairs, replacements, and comfort improvements. The role starts as a part-time position and will transition to full-time within two months.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical skills with clear communication and a strong customer service mindset to help customers make informed

Qualifications

• Previous HVAC service technician experience required.
• Centrally located to North Orange County and able to cover evenings/weekends.
• EPA Certification required.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Comfortable speaking with homeowners and recommending solutions.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high service standards.
• Positive attitude and strong customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Perform system inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting to improve efficiency.
• Educate homeowners on repair options, replacement opportunities, and performance.
• Build strong customer relationships through professionalism and trust.
• Present repair and upgrade options clearly and honestly.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements, IAQ and energy upgrades.
• Test pipe/tubing joints for leaks with gauges or soap solution.
• Test electrical circuits/components for continuity.
• Repair or replace defective equipment or wiring.
• Accurately document service findings and recommendations.
