Job summary

Nextech is seeking an experienced Service Operations Manager to oversee the HVAC service department and technicians. You will coordinate activities to achieve excellent customer service and strong brand recognition.

The role requires 7+ years of management in HVAC or building services, with an HVAC/R technical background and an O6A license. Expect a fast-paced environment, commitment to quality, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of management experience in HVAC contracting or related services.
• O6A license required.
• HVAC/R technical background.
• Understanding of quality management and effective communication.
• Experience with management and conflict resolution.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Adaptability to fast-paced environment and deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the service department operations and HVAC Technicians.
• Support staff, organize, direct, coordinate and control service activities for outstanding service and brand recognition.
• Manage all Service-Level Agreements (SLA) with current and new clients.
• Recruit, hire and develop the service operations team; deliver training programs.
• Review company reports (PMs, CINB, SLA, P&L) and communicate results to the team.
• Ensure goals are met monthly/quarterly/yearly and drive continuous improvements.
• Conduct annual reviews and evaluate performance; communicate improvements.
• Cover for higher-level managers when needed; schedule weekly activities with VP Ops.
