Johnson Controls is looking for an experienced HVAC Truck Based Service Manager to lead service customer account activity, drive labor and material growth, and support profitable execution for a diverse field team.
In this role, you will help strengthen customer relationships, develop people, and maintain a strong focus on safety and service quality.
You will own the day-to-day leadership of the service business for an assigned customer base, balancing operational execution, financial performance, and team development. The role requires a hands‑on manager who can coordinate technicians and team leads, support customer satisfaction, and ensure work is delivered safely and consistently.
Take ownership of results with accountability, integrity, and a strong commitment to safety.
Stay close to the work by understanding customer needs, removing obstacles, and keeping service execution focused on what matters most.
Use data, clear communication, and practical problem‑solving to improve margin, productivity, and service quality every day.
Work as one team by building trust across technicians, team leads, customer service, and management, while valuing different perspectives.
Balance people leadership with operational discipline so the team can deliver consistent results.
Use audits, coaching, and follow‑up to reinforce standards and strengthen performance.
Partner with internal stakeholders to support scheduling and management needs for the service operation.

$69,000-107,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
