Job description

Gpac, in partnership with a leading mechanical company, is seeking an HVAC Service Manager.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a well-respected company on a variety of commercial projects with significant potential for growth!

Responsibilities of the HVAC Service Manager:

• Quote projects and services to customers
• Hire and manage technicians
• Evaluate and expand the customer base
• Manage regional expenses
• Negotiate pricing with vendors and suppliers
• Inspect existing plumbing and HVAC equipment; perform repairs or modifications as needed
• Plan maintenance, repairs, or modifications; assign staff accordingly
• Analyze work orders to prioritize repairs and maintenance; evaluate systems to identify issues
• Determine and procure necessary parts and supplies
• Guide diagnosis and reporting of mechanical systems
• Coordinate work among teams, departments, and contractors
• Monitor work quality and assist or train staff as needed
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes during installations and repairs
• Work with suppliers to obtain cost estimates for repairs, replacements, and installations; oversee performance
• Collaborate with clients and staff to project future repair and equipment needs for budgeting
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance on major equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned
