Job summary

Ambient seeks a dynamic Service Agreement Sales Engineer to drive preventive maintenance and HVAC service agreement sales for commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities in California. You will build long-term relationships with facility managers, building owners, hospitals, universities, and pharmaceutical clients to deliver solutions that improve equipment reliability and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

3–5+ years of technical sales experience.
Strong understanding of after-sales services, maintenance plans, and service contracts.
Strong understanding of mechanical/HVAC systems and controls.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Identify potential customers and understand their mechanical service needs.
Develop and present tailored service solutions, including maintenance plans and after-sales support.
Build relationships with key end-user owners and partners to support sales.
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing and post-sales follow-up.
Address customer concerns with professionalism and ensure prompt resolution.
Sell DMG service agreements and maintenance contracts to building owners and facility managers.
Influence purchasing decisions related to HVAC service agreements and lifecycle planning.
