Job summary

Ambient seeks a dynamic Service Agreement Sales Engineer to drive preventive maintenance and service agreement sales for HVAC systems across commercial and industrial facilities. You will build long-term relationships with facility managers, building owners, hospitals, universities, and pharmaceutical clients to deliver cost-effective, reliable service.

You will manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing, present tailored maintenance plans, and promote post-sales

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of technical sales experience.
• Strong understanding of after-sales services, maintenance plans, and service contracts.
• Strong understanding of mechanical/HVAC systems and controls.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Actively pursue new business opportunities by identifying potential customers and understanding their mechanical service needs.
• Develop and present tailored service solutions, including maintenance plans, equipment retrofits, and after-sales support packages.
• Build strong relationships with key end-user owners across major vertices, including factory partners while supporting broader sales team.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation through to contract signing and post-sales follow-up.
• Address any customer concerns or issues with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Sell DMG service agreements, preventive maintenance programs, repair services, and other aftermarket solutions directly to building owners and facility managers.
• Influence purchasing decisions related to HVAC service agreements, maintenance contracts, lifecycle equipment planning, and ongoing service solutions.
• Must have experience understanding, presenting, and selling HVAC service agreements, maintenance contracts, or recurring service offerings.
