Job summary

Vertical Mechanical Group (VMG) is seeking a motivated Service Sales Manager to expand our commercial HVAC and mechanical services business in Sterling, VA. You will develop relationships with building owners, property managers, and key decision-makers, driving opportunities from prospecting to close.

Collaborate with service operations, estimators, and project managers to craft proposals, price projects, and present solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, controls, or construction-related sales experience.
• Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with estimating, operations, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with building owners, property managers, facility managers, general contractors, and other key decision-makers.
• Generate new business through networking, referrals, prospecting, cold outreach, and existing customer relationships.
• Maintain and grow relationships with current customers to identify additional opportunities.
• Partner with operations, estimators, and project teams to develop effective project solutions.
• Manage the sales process with an organized pipeline and CRM tracking; close strategic opportunities.
