Job summary

MPSW in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Mechanical Service Estimator, with project management experience, to estimate quoted service and preventive maintenance contracts and oversee the execution of mechanical HVAC projects.

The role requires strong communication with sales, customers, vendors and operations, and a mix of field and office work. You will assemble accurate estimates, manage subcontractor bids, and help define project scope and materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in construction field in similar role or equivalent in commercial HVAC.
• Experience estimating HVAC mechanical service.
• Proficiency with mechanical estimating software is a plus.
• Strong math and analytical skills; exceptional communication.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills.

Responsibilities

• Estimate mechanical service and PM costs with sales and operations.
• Prepare and organize detailed estimates promptly.
• Coordinate subcontractor and vendor quotations to meet contracts.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and clients.
• Attend pre-bid walkthroughs and identify scope with sales.
• Support turnover meetings with operations to define scope and materials.
