Job summary

Lennox National Account Services, a Lennox International subsidiary, seeks an entry-level HVAC technician to support installation, maintenance and service for commercial customers in Lafayette, LA. You will join a team delivering preventative maintenance, repairs and calibration, with emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a High School diploma, HVAC school, EPA/NATE certifications preferred, and willingness to travel or relocate after training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; HVAC trade school helpful.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification preferred.
• 1+ years in mechanical support; hands-on HVAC experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• EPA/NATE certifications are a plus.
• Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 90 lbs.
• Technical aptitude for maintenance, service and troubleshooting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to complete repairs and required paperwork.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to travel locally and occasionally work weekends/nights.
• Must be willing to relocate after training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair and calibration after installation.
• Use technical abilities to maintain HVAC systems.
• Work in a team-based environment to share workload and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned and be flexible with overtime.
• Weekend and night work may be required.

Skills

High School diploma or GED equivalent

HVAC Trade school graduate

1+ years in mechanical support role

EPA Certification- Type I & Type II or

NATE certification a plus

Valid Driver’s License and acceptable

Ability to climb ladders

Moderate lifting up to 90 pounds

Technical aptitude to perform

Excellent Customer Service Skills

Good Electrical and Mechanical Diagnos

Ability to complete repairs and needed
