Job summary

Lennox National Account Services is hiring an entry-level HVAC technician in Lafayette, LA. You will support installation, maintenance and servicing of commercial HVAC systems, with training leading to growth. This non-exempt role offers weekly payroll, overtime, and company vehicle after training.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, HVAC trade schooling preferred, EPA Type I/II or Universal, and be willing to relocate after training. Local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• HVAC trade school preferred with good attendance.
• 1+ years in mechanical support role; some HVAC experience preferred.
• EPA Certification Type I & II or Universal preferred.
• NATE certification a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean record.
• Ability to climb ladders; lift up to 90 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair and calibration after installation.
• Use technical abilities to maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems.
• Work in a team-based environment to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Flexibility for overtime and weekends.
