Job summary

Main Care Energy in New York is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician who takes pride in doing the job right and wants a long-term career with an employee-owned company.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems, perform preventive maintenance, install equipment, and participate in an on-call rotation while delivering top‑notch customer service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on HVAC service experience.
• EPA 608 certification (Universal preferred).
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• A professional, customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and/or commercial heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and seasonal tune-ups.
• Install and replace equipment, including furnaces, heat pumps, AC units, and controls.
• Explain problems and repair options clearly to customers.
• Keep accurate service records and maintain a clean, well-stocked service vehicle.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.
