Job summary

Dun-rite HVAC Services is seeking a skilled Residential HVAC Technician to serve the McKinney area. You will diagnose issues, perform inspections, and present repair or replacement options to homeowners with a consultative approach.

You'll work Monday–Friday, handle about three service calls daily, and benefit from a company truck, fuel card, and comprehensive benefits while advancing through ongoing coaching and certification support.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience presenting repair options to homeowners.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to manage a residential service route independently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Run residential HVAC service calls throughout the McKinney area.
• Perform complete HVAC inspections and diagnostic evaluations.
• Complete common truck stock repairs including capacitors, contactors, and other minor component replacements.
• Present repair and system replacement options based on Equipment condition and homeowner needs.
• Recommend new HVAC systems when appropriate.
• Help customers make informed decisions using a professional, consultative approach.
• Record service details accurately using a dispatch CRM.
• Monitor personal performance metrics including close rate and daily production.
• Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, and team members.
• Deliver high quality workmanship and an outstanding customer experience.

• Monitor personal performance metrics including close rate, average ticket, and daily production

• Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, and team members

• Deliver high quality workmanship and an outstanding customer experience
