Job summary

The Franklin Group is a premier owner-operator of multifamily communities. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for Fairfax Crest in Fairfax, VA to keep buildings and grounds in excellent condition.

You will diagnose issues and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems. The ideal candidate holds a GED or high school diploma, 1–3 years of maintenance experience, and HVAC certification.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required with 1–3 years related maintenance experience.
HVAC certification is required; CAMT is recommended.
Fair Housing Certification must be obtained within 1 day of hire.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repairs.
Respond to resident work orders and notify management on completion or delays.
Maintain daily upkeep of the community and inspect vacant units before occupancy.
Manage inventory of supplies and ensure tools are properly cared for.
Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times.
Be available to work on an on-call basis when required.
