Job summary

Summers Plumbing, Heating and Cooling is looking for an addition or two to our Sales Tech group. We offer an very competitive hourly rate with commissions, bonuses and spiffs on top of your hourly pay.

As a Sales Tech, you will determine residential HVAC service needs, perform repairs, and communicate clearly with customers in homes and businesses. Training to expand knowledge and certifications will be provided to support ongoing growth within the team.

Qualifications

• Communicate professionally with customers, office staff and coworkers.
• Be thorough in inspections and accurate in quoting replacements or repairs.
• Completion of proposed work as quoted.
• Participate in all required staff meetings and training sessions.
• Promote a professional and friendly work environment.

Responsibilities

• Determine residential HVAC service needs and perform repairs.
• Understand IAQ, air distribution systems and basic HVAC repairs.
• Receive training to expand knowledge base and obtain more certifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair a variety of residential HVAC systems and install IAQ products according to codes.
• Lift and maneuver equipment up to 25 lbs; climb ladders; use hand and power tools.
• Drug tests, background checks and valid driver's license required.
